The Welsh Home provides care to residents who have long term care needs. The interdisiciplinary team of doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, social workers, activity professionals, the resident and their family members work together to develop a person-centered plan of care for each resident.The Welsh Home's newly renovated long term care addition concluded in 2013, and was designed to provide a home-like environment for each resident.
Restorative Therapy
The Welsh Home has a restorative therapy program to encourage residents to maintain their physical level of function. The restorative team does basic range of motion, walking and simple exercises to help residents keep their independence.
